Orh… let’s go for a weekend food hunt!

Ipoh’s reputation for tin mining is only superseded by its reputation as a culinary destination. Some say that it’s the water (the limestone caves and the hard water there apparently makes the food taste that much better), others claim that it is the Cantonese background of the food (because you know, Cantonese). I don’t know why it’s popular, I only know that I like to eat.. or to paraphrase food blogger Dr Leslie Tay (from the food blog ieatishootipost), if I’m gonna get fat on food, I’d rather it taste good.
